Let us introduce you to the Straub Beer Adventure Series #1…
Celebrating the independent spirit of the Pennsylvania Wilds region, which Straub beer has called home since the 1870’s. Straub Brewery has launched the first of it’s three craft beer sample packs for 2017. Titled the “Adventure Series 1” it surely doesn’t disappoint.
It’s no surprise, that the state that Straub calls home, Pennsylvania, has a hard working, blue collar background. That was part of the drive and determination for Straub Brewery’s first Adventure Series; to pay tribute to the people and the places in the Keystone State where we all work, live and play. In the words of Brewery President CEO William Brock “These beers embody the best of what life has to offer”.
Wild*Boy Hopped Lager (IPL)- A clean and refreshing lager that’s named after the popular Wild Boy Run Stream, is an India-Style Pale Lager featuring blended citrus, spice and floral aromas, hops, that end with a refreshing grapefruit taste.
Tight Lines Ale– An award winning brew, Kolsh-Style malt ale, will make you think of the spirt that warmer weather of Spring and Summer brings. Tight Lines Ale was an award winner at the 2016 World Beer Cup, and pays tribute to Pennsylvania’s trout streams, lakes and waterways. There may not be anything better than reeling in a trophy splashing in the water on a warm spring day, however the refreshing taste of a Tight Lines Ale after a hard fought fight with a large mouth bass or rainbow trout is a very close second!
Boulder Bock (Maibock)– Here, Straub tips it’s cap to the scenic views, hills and mountains. This pale colored bock lager has a very nice combination of German and American ingredients. Try it with anything from Seafood to Grilled Cheese or if you’re daring enough….that brunch omelet or desserts. A rich-Malty flavor will have you welcoming Spring with open arms!
Ridge Top Runner– So much of our great state is forests and uncharged game lands. That’s what Straub is saluting with the Ridge Top Runner. From Pennsylvania’s rich history of logging to those who were part of establishing our infrastructure and communities. A Vienna style all malt amber lager is a must for any craft beer drinker. This beer is all about balance, something we all seek in our fast-paced lifestyles. It has just enough flavor and aroma to appeal to any been connoisseur.
